PIA'S GREEK ODYSSEY
Prime time to take your summer vacation is just around the corner !
We are stuck in the office, pining after a holiday and reminiscing of our SS18 Photoshoot in Mykonos a few months back, cry :(
You can't see the full SS18 Collection until next year, but here's a little sneak peek of what we got up to - from cobbled streets to calamari - Pia Rossini's Guide to Mykonos.
Can't go on holiday without a place to stay -so first things first - here is our ultra chic accommodation. https://www.lenoestate-mykonos.com/en/villa-nefeli.html
We had to get somewhere big enough to fit our whole crew, models and all. The Nefeli Villa in the Leno Estate was perfect , both in size, style and location. A modern twist of traditional Greek architecture , cubic white washed buildings, with uber cool and stylish interiors (and free wifi, obvs!).
Mother and daughter buying duo (Debbie and Kirsty) were very happy with the villa, as you can see in the featured photo below! We may have tested out the pool at one point... had to for review purposes, you know.. The ever so glam Debbie is wearing one of our best sellers for style and comfort - the Appollo Wedge Sandal in black, whilst Kirsty opted for a cute option with the Nemo Bow Detail Sandal in red.
We shot throughout the day in various locations all over the island, this gave us a chance to explore all the best areas. It is a very endearing island with little cobbled streets and a lot of character (we may have wondered off and got lost a few times...or 10). Our in-house stylist Kirsty is featured below exploring a quaint boutique. She is wearing our Cabo wide brim summer hat, embellished Martinique bag and jeweled Silvana toe-post sandals.
There's one thing we absolutely love, besides fashion obvs, and that's FOOD. So we went off to try some local cuisine, calamari being a strong recommendation of course. We found a unique spot just beside Little Venice, equipped with olives and stunning ocean views - Nice n Easy, literally. The food was delcious, so much so that we returned sevral times before we left the island.
Evening attire on the Greek Islands has a relaxed feel, so you can go for a less is more approach. Here is an example of one of our team members pulling her best cool 'candid' insta pose (she didn't know she was being photographed honestly......).
In between exploring the architecture and making friends with the local wildlife (new found love for goats..), there was quite a lot of walking involved around this pretty little island. Luckily our summer sandals are designed with a cushioned sole and were so great to our feet (even when they were swollen up like a puff pastry - hello cankles). A favorite among the group for style and comfort was the slip on Cosmo sandal, pictured above, with added sparkle for some extra sass. Here are some of the styles featured in this post below - you can shop the full collection @ https://www.piarossini.com/holiday-shop/sandals.html
